Social Media Chair
Responsible for development of quarterly newsletter and distribution to members. Social media responsibilities also include the active maintenance of the Chapter’s Facebook page and Twitter account. Purpose of which is to keep members up to date on current events in the eating disorder field, both locally and nationally. Maintains Chapter website and creates formal invitation for Winter Celebration, incoordination with the Marketing Chair.
Actively seeks new speakers for each quarterly event, in coordination with board request. Manages speakers’ needs and request (i.e. projector, handouts, microphones) and uploads event title and bio to Marketing Chair for event announcement. Organizes and obtains approval for Continuing Education units for MFT, LCSW, and RD. Psychologist CEUs are appropriate, although not necessary.
