Learn the ins and outs of psychodiagnostic testing! What is it? What is the rationale for testing? What are the intended benefits? Leave this discussion with a better understanding of the testing process from start to finish, and how testing can be assistive in understanding a client’s strengths, vulnerabilities, and treatment needs.

Learning Objectives: 

  1. Understand common uses and client benefits of psychodiagnostic testing. 
  2. Understand the process/series of activities entailed in psychodiagnostic testing. 
  3. Understand when/how to refer for psychodiagnostic testing. 
  4. Understand some of the common ethical guidelines psychodiagnostic evaluators must strive toward/adhere to.
